DogPlanet ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the DogPlanet mobile application and its features: Planet Love (love video sharing), Planet Vibes (music sharing), Planet HeartBeets (heartbeat audio sharing), and the DogP token economy.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

• Google Account: Your name and email address, used for authentication when you sign in with Google. Your email is never displayed to other users.
• Videos: Short videos (up to 33 seconds) you record and upload in Planet Love. These are pinned to a world map and visible to all users.
• Audio Recordings: Heartbeat audio compositions you create in Planet HeartBeets. These are shared via your HeartBeet Key.
• Solana Wallet Address: If you connect a Solana wallet to claim or deposit DogP tokens, your wallet address is stored in your profile.
• Text Content: Notes, chat messages, community chat replies, and your VibeIn Code phrase.
• HeartBeet Key: A short memorable phrase you set to share your HeartBeet audio with others.

Automatically Collected Information

• Precise Location (GPS): Collected when you record a love video in Planet Love. Your GPS coordinates are stored as the pin location of your video on the world map. Location is only recorded at the moment of capture.
• Device Information: Anonymous device identifiers for Firebase Authentication.
• Usage Data: App interaction events collected through Firebase Analytics.
• Music Listening Activity: In Planet Vibes, the tracks you are currently listening to are shared in real time with circle members you choose. This data is stored temporarily and not sold or shared outside your circles.

Financial and Token Data

• DogP Token Balance: Your in-app DogP balance is stored in our Firebase database.
• Solana Transaction Signatures: When you purchase DogP tokens by sending SOL or deposit DOGP tokens, the on-chain transaction signature and your Solana wallet address are recorded for auditing purposes.
• Purchase History: Records of DogP token purchases and deposits are stored for fraud prevention and support.

How We Use Your Information

• Display your love videos as pins on the world map
• Enable real-time music sharing within your VibeIn circles
• Share your HeartBeet audio composition with friends via your HeartBeet Key
• Process DogP token purchases, deposits, and claims
• Enable private and community chat around shared content
• Prevent abuse and ensure community safety
• Improve app functionality and user experience

Data Storage and Security

• All data is stored securely on Google Firebase servers (Europe-West1 region)
• Videos and audio files are stored in Firebase Storage with access controls
• User data is protected by Firebase Security Rules
• DogP balance and transaction data are stored in Firestore with user-level access controls
• Solana wallet interactions use industry-standard cryptographic security
• We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information

Data Sharing

We do NOT:

• Sell your personal information to third parties
• Share your data for advertising purposes

Your love videos and their GPS pin locations are publicly visible to all app users by design. Do not record videos in locations you do not wish to disclose.

Your music listening activity in Planet Vibes is shared only with members of your chosen circles.

Cryptocurrency and Token Economy

Your Rights

• Access your data — contact us to request a copy
• Delete your account and associated data — use the Delete Account button in Settings
• Correct inaccurate data — edit your profile in the app
• Withdraw consent — stop using the app; your data will be retained for 30 days then deleted

User-Generated Content

Videos and community chat messages you post are visible to all app users. You retain ownership of your content but grant DogPlanet a non-exclusive licence to display it within the app. You are responsible for ensuring your content complies with applicable laws and our community guidelines.

Children's Privacy

DogPlanet is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have done so, please contact us immediately at contact@dogplanet.app.

Data Retention

• Love videos remain on the map until you delete them from My Loves
• Deleted videos are permanently removed from Firebase Storage within 24 hours
• VibeIn listening data is cleared when you stop sharing
• Chat messages are retained as long as the associated conversation exists
• DogP transaction records are retained for 7 years for financial auditing
• Account data is deleted within 30 days of account deletion

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through app updates. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
